Potential Questions: As professional web designers, how much code do you need to understand to design websites today? Is it different for mobile? How often do you need to update websites to keep up with current trends? Should you get a degree to work as a web designer? If so, what sort of degree from what sort of institution? Which websites should aspiring web designers follow? Is a long lasting web design career as much about who you know as it is about what you know (i.e. networking, online or in-person)? How much do you need to understand about a business/client before designing an effective website? Does web designing now encompass advertising, blogging, social networking - internet marketing as a whole? Is it enough to just simply be a web designer when sites like Facebook, Shopify, YouTube, Twitter, Squidoo, Polyvore, Google+, Blogger, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, etc. can take care of at least some of the work for you in many cases?

Looking forward to the discussion!

In tough economic times like these, do you and will you consider accepting another job offer that does not quite fit your ideal type of work?

If no, what consideration would you entertain if you feel your current company's market is in jeopardy of being affected with respect to layoffs?

How have you noticed the recession affecting your business?

Does your process for finding new clients/leads change during a recession? If so, how?
